Do I need any experience or qualifications to take part?

No, you do not need a hairdressing qualification to become a hair extensionist. All you need to do is complete one of our hair extension courses.

We offer 1 and 2 day courses. Training usually runs 9am–3pm depending on how many methods you choose to learn.

Each course comes with:

  • A start-up kit with all the supplies you need to get started

  • A training handbook to refer back to

  • Ongoing support after certification

  • An ABT-accredited certificate once you’ve completed your case studies

Yes. All courses at Cabelo Training Academy are fully ABT-accredited, and you’ll receive your ABT-accredited certificate once you’ve completed your case studies.

Yes, all courses include a starter kit, except refresher courses which do not include one.

We offer a Refresher Course for those who have trained previously or been out of the industry for a while. It’s a one-day course revising methods and practical work, paced to your needs. Kits are not included in refresher courses.
